WISHON PROMOTIONS is proud to present JOHN WAITE at The Sanctuary Music & Events in McKinney, TX on Saturday, February 24, 2018, in support of his Wooden Heart Acoustic Anthology Volume 2 album/cd.
As a solo artist and as the lead singer of the Babys and Bad English, John Waite was a fixture of album-oriented rock radio stations during the ’70s and ’80s. Waite had a talent for power ballads and driving arena rock, occasionally touching on new wave-styled power pop as well.
Hits such as “Isn’t It Time”, “Everytime I Think of You”, “Head First”, “Back On My Feet Again”, “Midnight Rendezvous”, “Turn and Walk Away”, “Change”, “Missing You”, “When I See You Smile”, “Price of Love”, “In Dreams”, and my personal favorite – “Downtown”.

The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to present The South Austin Moonlighters at The Sanctuary Music & Events on Friday March 2nd at 8pm (doors open at 7pm). When Phil Bass, Chris Beall, Phil Hurley, and Lonnie Trevino Jr, four established Austin TX musicians, decide to join forces and play together just because it’s fun, you’re going to get something special. Such is the case for The South Austin Moonlighters, a band that blends blues, folk, soul, rock, and country, who can flip the switch from slow melodic country to gravelly rocking blues without a hitch. Think Little Feat meets Los Lobos with a splash of The Flying Burrito Bros, and you start to peel away the many musical layers of sound that makes up the S.A.M.

The universe of guitar knows no boundaries for The California Guitar Trio. Since 1991, the group has enthralled listeners with a singular sound that fearlessly crisscrosses genres. The trio’s questing spirit drives it to explore the intersections between rock, jazz, classical, and world music. It even throws in the occasional surf or spaghetti Western tune for good measure.
Comprised of Bert Lams, Hideyo Moriya and Paul Richards, the group has established a unique, personal connection with audiences. In addition to dazzling musicianship and interplay, The California Guitar Trio’s (CGT) shows are full of captivating stories and humor that enable concertgoers to feel like they’re part of the music, not just spectators. In fact, the group’s goal is to transcend their instruments, so people focus on the music first, and its considerable technical prowess a distant second.
The Sanctuary was specifically designed with concerts in mind. Its features include; a state of the art sound system and lighting equipment and a built in stage. Full service sound and lighting technicians along with LCD projection are available to make your next music event truly spectacular.
