Powerhouse blues / rock / jazz / funk guitarist Oz Noy joins forces with the talented Rai Thistlethwayte from Australia, the lead singer, keyboardist, and primary songwriter in the Australian pop rock band Thirsty Merc to form Ozone Squeeze. Oz has been at the forefront of edgy-yet-rootsy guitar playing since he arrived in New York from Israel in the 1990’s. He has released four albums on the Abstract Logix label, and won Guitar Player magazine’s reader polls for “Best guitar riff on a record” (2007), “Best new talent” (2008), and “Best out there guitar player” (2013). Rai Thistlethwayte started Thirsty Merc, a rock band which would release three successful albums (one platinum, one double-platinum in Australia). He has also performed in a number of jazz combos with the likes of Christian McBride and James Muller. Darren Stanley has been in the music business performing, teaching and recording for the last 25 years. In recent years, he has worked with Col. Bruce Hampton, Delta Moon, and Donna the Buffalo.

Greg Koch and the Koch-Marshall Trio consist of American guitarist Greg Koch, his son Dylan Koch on drums and Hammond B3 specialist Toby Lee Marshall. At the heart of this organ trio is a blues sensibility – but Koch’s compositions are an amalgam of rock, funk, jazz and country served up with heavy grooves and dynamic improvisations delivered with no small dose of humor and occasional wild abandon.

Tony MacAlpine is widely known as a guitar virtuoso who is just as skilled on the keys. Edge of Insanity, one of fourteen solo albums, is still considered in the top ten shred albums of all time. Aside from his solo work, Tony has also been part of several rock supergroups including Planet X with Derek Sherinian and Virgil Donati, PSMS,(Portnoy/Sheehan/MacAlpine/Sherinian) as well as the Grammy nominated CAB with bassist Bunny Brunel and drummer Dennis Chambers, and Ring of Fire with Steve Weingart, Mark Boals, Grammy winner Philip Bynoe, and Virgil Donati. MacAlpine also spent seven years playing keys and duplicating Steve Vai’s formidable guitar leads in Vai’s touring band.

Venezuelan guitarist Felix Martin plays like no one else….literally! Martin is the only guitarist the world over to fuse two guitars into one creating both a style and sound unlike anything heard before. Mixing rock, metal, Latin, and progressive styles with jazz chops firmly plants Martin as the preeminent king of 14 and 16 string guitar.

Based out of Dallas-TX, “Jason Elmore & Hoodoo Witch” is a high-energy trio that blends jump blues, hard-hitting rock, vintage soul/r&b, and traces of 60’s country into a unique-but-familiar sound that always maintains the essence of the blues while simultaneously offering a fresh take on the genre. The band is comprised of Jason Elmore on guitar and vocals, Brandon Katona on bass, and Mike Talbot on drums. These cats are uncommonly seamless in their ability to tailor their performance to suit the venue and demographic, without compromising the integrity of their mission, which is to give 110% with every single performance, regardless of whether it’s 2 people or 2,000.

Elmont is a new, four-piece Alternative band from North Dallas. Their self-produced debut single, “Home” was recently released on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and many other sites. Elmont has an eclectic sound that complements the rhythmic journey of the lyrics. The sound of the band is influenced from their love of Alternative Rock, Red Dirt, Indie and vintage records.

In 1988, Don became the first Canadian to win the U.S. National Fingerpick Guitar Championship. He won again in 1996, still the only two-time winner of the competition. He signed a recording deal with Toronto-based Duke Street Records and released three CDs for them between 1989 and 1993. He then recorded three CDs for Sony/Columbia between 1994 and 1997, and then three more for Milwaukee-based Narada Records between 1999 and 2003.

With the collapse of the conventional recording industry in the early 21st century, Don entered into a new venture with Milwaukee-based CandyRat Records and its founder, Rob Poland. The move to a completely internet-based model of releasing recordings resulted in the first ever CandyRat CD, 2005’s Music for Vacuuming. Don has released numerous CDs and DVDs for the new label, including his new album, A Million Brazilian Civilians, on CD and see-through orange vinyl.
